Who we are
This notice is given by Three Monkeys Online Sdn Bhd (company no. 202101008046 / 1408345-P), of 38A, Taman Gelugor, Georgetown 11600, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia ("TMO", "we", "us"). It is given under section 7 of Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 ("PDPA") and explains how we handle personal data on this website, 3mo.my, and when you contact us or apply to work with us.
A Bahasa Malaysia version is at the end of this page. If the versions differ, the English version applies.
Personal data we collect
We collect only what you give us, and a small amount that any website receives automatically.
- When you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp: your name, contact details, the business you represent and the content of your message.
- When you apply for a job: your CV, contact details, work history, qualifications and anything else you choose to include.
- When you become a client or partner: the business and contact details needed to quote, deliver and invoice our services.
- When you visit this website: our web host records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, and the date and time).
We do not ask for sensitive personal data such as health, religious or biometric information. Please do not send it to us.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use cookies, advertising trackers, tracking pixels or analytics.
It stores one small item in your browser's session storage to remember that the opening animation has already played. It contains no personal data and is deleted when you close the tab.
Why we use your data
We use personal data only for these purposes:
- to reply to your enquiry and handle your request;
- to prepare quotations and deliver the services you ask for;
- to assess job applications;
- to keep this website secure and working;
- to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Giving us your contact details is voluntary, but without them we cannot reply to you or provide our services. We do not use your data for automated decisions, and we do not send marketing messages unless you have asked for them.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:
- service providers who work for us under a duty of confidentiality, such as our web host and email provider;
- our professional advisers, such as auditors and lawyers;
- government authorities and regulators, where the law requires it.
If you contact us on WhatsApp, your messages also pass through WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta and has its own privacy policy.
Transfers outside Malaysia
Some of our service providers, such as our email provider, may store data on servers outside Malaysia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure the data is protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact with you.
- Job applications: up to 12 months if you are not hired, unless you ask us to keep them for future roles.
- Client, invoice and tax records: 7 years, as Malaysian law requires.
- Server logs: a limited period set by our web host, normally no more than 90 days.
After that, we delete the data or make it anonymous.
How we protect it
We limit access to the people who need it, use password-protected systems with two-step sign-in where available, and serve this website over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure. If a data breach is likely to cause you significant harm, we will notify you and the Personal Data Protection Commissioner as the law requires.
Your rights
Under the PDPA you can:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date;
- withdraw your consent, or ask us to stop or limit how we use your data;
- ask us to stop using your data for direct marketing;
- ask us to transfer your data to another organisation, where this is technically possible.
To make a request, email hello@3mo.my. We may need to confirm your identity first. We will reply within 21 days. The law allows us to charge a small fee for access requests and to refuse a request in limited cases; if we do either, we will tell you why.
Children
This website and our services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please tell us and we will delete it.

Websites and apps operated under our brands, and other websites we link to, have their own privacy notices. This notice does not cover them.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed, and the current version is always on this page.

Notis ini dikeluarkan oleh Three Monkeys Online Sdn Bhd (no. syarikat 202101008046 / 1408345-P), beralamat di 38A, Taman Gelugor, Georgetown 11600, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia ("TMO", "kami"), menurut seksyen 7 Akta Perlindungan Data Peribadi 2010 ("APDP"). Ia menerangkan cara kami mengendalikan data peribadi di laman web ini, 3mo.my, dan apabila anda menghubungi kami atau memohon pekerjaan dengan kami. Kuki dan penjejakan. Laman web ini tidak menggunakan kuki, penjejak iklan atau alat analitik. Ia hanya menyimpan satu item kecil dalam storan sesi pelayar anda untuk mengingati bahawa animasi pembukaan telah dimainkan. Item ini tidak mengandungi data peribadi dan dipadam apabila anda menutup tab.
Tujuan penggunaan. Untuk menjawab pertanyaan anda; menyediakan sebut harga dan perkhidmatan; menilai permohonan kerja; memastikan laman web ini selamat dan berfungsi; serta mematuhi kewajipan undang-undang, cukai dan perakaunan. Pemberian butiran perhubungan adalah secara sukarela, tetapi tanpanya kami tidak dapat menjawab atau memberikan perkhidmatan kepada anda.
